The more laid back and casual concept of founder and celebrity Chef Jacky Yu’s Xi Yan Group, Xi Yan Shaw offers the same selection of signature dishes, quality ingredients and innovative level of creativity that its flagship restaurant at Craig Road has come to be known for. An all-day dining venue overlooking Scotts Road, the wide sharing menu contains no lard or MSG, with each dish generously portioned, making them great value for money.
The most popular appetiser has to be the Salivating Spicy Chicken, which is served on a bed of glass noodles and generously garnished with peanuts, century egg, coriander and special sauce. When it comes to mains, some of the must-have signatures include the deep-fried shrimp paste fish fillet with pomelo chestnut salad, which is perfectly complemented by the accompanying citrus sauce and chunks of pomelo.
