Founded by 78-year-old Wolfgang Zwiener (yes, it has nothing to do with celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck), this eponymous establishment serves up a quintessential New York steakhouse experience. The service at this new Singapore outpost is friendly and knowledgeable, which adds to the dining experience.

The 28-day dry-aged USDA Prime Black Angus beef can sometimes taste a tad funky, but dry-aged steak lovers would likely approve. The signature here is the Porterhouse steak, brought sizzling to the table and given a quick bath in hot butter. Enjoy with sides like spinach fried in garlic or sautéed mushrooms, which are lighter on the oil and fat.
