Excellent service, quality ingredients and extensive spread. Triple Three checks all the boxes for a great Japanese-inspired buffet. Quality and freshness are its greatest merits with many dishes prepared a la minute. For example, freshly fried, hot and crispy prawn and vegetable tempura; premium sushi and sliced-to-order sashimi, featuring varieties like salmon, tuna and octopus; and beautifully seared teppanyaki meats and vegetables. While predominantly Japanese cuisine, the buffet also offers seafood on ice and roasts, including succulent prime rib and sweet, smoky honey baked ham. Some Indian options— including curries, vegetarian delicacies and chutneys—and pasta dishes also feature, as well as a decadent selection of desserts. What’s more, special promotions throughout the week keep the buffet interesting. International Mondays comes with free-flow Asahi Draft; Foie Gras Tuesdays showcases foie gras done four ways—pan seared in truffle miso, as chawanmushi, terrine and royale; Kumamoto Wagyu Wednesdays place tender A4 grade cuts on centrestage; Shelled Thursdays get diners indulging in crustacean like baked oyster gratin and stuffed crab with miso butter; and Lobster Weekends on Fridays and Saturdays give diners their fill of freshly imported lobsters and Triple Three’s signature lobster mentaiyaki.
