Thanks to its wallet-friendly prices and superior quality, Tim Ho Wan has earned itself the accolade “most affordable Michelin-starred restaurant in the world”. Its forte is classic dim sum, comprising familiar favourites such as pork and prawn siew mai, steamed rice rolls and pan-fried radish cake. But new offerings also entice. The chewy pork dumplings coated with a piquant blend of chilli oil, herbs and spices are particularly enjoyable, while the baked char siew buns— crusty yet pillowy domes filled with juicy-sweet barbecued pork—are not to be missed.
