2018 Review
Thanks to its location’s pastoral feel and the fact that it occupies a former chapel, The White Rabbit is a popular place for weddings and dates. Its bar, The Rabbit Hole, is also a well-loved watering hole. The menu features deftly executed modern classics like lobster bisque and truffle en crout. The latter is a truffle broth swimming with diced truffle and foie gras, and topped with seasonal white truffle shavings. The 36-hour Brandt short ribs glazed with ruby port and served with grilled broccolini and a dollop of carrot and cardamom purée is highly recommended. Beef lovers will also enjoy the Australian wagyu steak paired with truffle sauce and served with pickled vegetables.
The crepe suzette is a hot favourite here, flambéed tableside, which makes for fantastic Instagramming. Those who prefer chocolate can try the chocolate tart with lavender ice cream. There is an extensive wine list, but give the creative renditions of gin tonics a try.
