Terra serves Tokyo-Italian cuisine, which essentially means a heady blend of Japanese ingredients and techniques applied to the Italian culinary canon. The result is an inspired menu studded with gems, easily making this one of our favourite restaurants along the Tras Street stretch.
Chef Seita Nakahara serves an omakase-only menu that starts from $168 and runs all the way to $308. Lunch is good value at just $128 for the priciest menu, which offers two starters, a pasta, a main and dessert all featuring top shelf ingredients.
Signature mainstays include the popular uni bruschetta sometimes paired with two types of shiro ebi shrimps; freshly made kitari pasta with Hokkaido clams and homemade bottarga; and Tochigi A4 wagyu served lightly charred on the outside for maximum flavour and perfectly pink on the inside.
