Tampopo Grand’s extensive menu covers everything you’d expect from a Japanese restaurant—shabu shabu, sukiyaki, sashimi, sushi, tempura and a whole bunch of fried dishes, grilled items, udon and soba. The Kyoto beef sukiyaki set deserves special mention for the meat’s melting tenderness and the flavoursome broth.

Though pricey, the sashimi moriawase is worth the splurge as it features premium cuts of tuna. The service is personable and warm.
