Tucked away in the verdant grounds of Labrador Nature Reserve, Tamarind Hill is a gorgeous restaurant set within a grand colonial bungalow. The walk up to the historical structure among well-manicured greenery is half the pleasure of dining here. Appointed with elegant Thai accents, the bar that greets diners is rich with dark wood panelling, sleek black lanterns and polished Buddha heads.

The restaurant serves Thai classics turned out by Thai executive chef Wanthana Nikonsaen. Expect generous portions of dishes such as red tom yum soup with river prawns, a tasty pork neck and herb salad, and roasted duck breast and grapes in a fiery red curry.
