Exuding rustic trattoria feels but with a contemporary touch, Supply & Demand is an ideal pit-stop for hearty Italian inspired fare and Asian fusion bites.

From the cichetti section are signatures like chunky-cut garlic truffle fries with parmesan and roasted garlic; and beef tagliata comprising beautifully seared sliced beef with a rucola pear salad in a sesame shoyu dressing.

Mains involve an extensive selection of pastas, pizzas, risotto, grilled meats and Asian rice bowls. Pizzas here come crisp and thin-crusted, with dough made in-house daily. A star is the Morning After Pizza, a divine tomato-based pizza topped with mushrooms, smoky bacon and runny egg. If rice is nicer, the squid ink seafood risotto is exquisite, with a splash of white wine and a rich buttery finish.

Pair off with a refreshing cooler like tangy Tropical Thunder, combining peach and pineapple juices, or one of their select craft beers, such as Blue Moon Brewery’s Belgian Style Witbier Draft, aromatic with bright floral and citrus notes. What’s more, with every drink purchase, diners can enjoy fresh Pacific oysters at $2 a pop.

Finally, the decadent tiramisu, with its excellent balance of sweet and creamy mascarpone, espresso-soaked savoiardi fingers and good dusting of cocoa powder, makes a lovely end to the repast.
