2018 Review
Located at the Amara Singapore, this well-established restaurant is renowned for its provincial Chinese cuisine from Szechuan, Shaanxi, Liaoning and Beijing.
Kick off the dining experience with sliced pork and cucumber, presented elegantly on a bamboo rack. The waitstaff will deftly wrap the tender pork and crunchy cucumber slices in a delicate pancake flavoured with delectable garlic chilli sauce. Though only made up of these simple ingredients, the resulting spring roll is a delightful treat.
Follow up with the flavourful double-boiled ginseng chicken soup studded with fish maw for extra nourishment. Another recommendation is the fork-tender braised pork belly with preserved vegetables bearing just the right amount of saltiness. A good list of desserts is available for those with a sweet tooth to round up the meal.
