A flagship restaurant of the Paradise Group, Seafood Paradise has come a long way since its early hawker stall days at Defu Lane. It is prized for its elegant showcasing of Singaporean Chinese cuisine, particularly seafood. It’s no surprise that they do a killer chilli crab. But many other dishes tempt as well: Sri Lankan crab tossed in their signature creamy butter then topped with coconut crumbs; kang kong with tender cuttlefish in a homemade seafood sauce; and an excellent sautéed beef with bites of foie gras pate. But a clear highlight is their supreme seafood fried rice, delectable with fragrant wok hei, flying fish roe and a generous medley of prawns and scallops.
