Helmed by executive chef Dickson Fung, SE7ENTH is Oakwood Premier OUE Singapore’s elegant in-house restaurant serving contemporary European and local favourites. Tucked away from the busy OUE Downtown Gallery downstairs, it makes an ideal respite from the hustle and bustle.
For lunches, choose between the weekday executive set lunch with free-flow appetisers from the salad bar, freshly brewed coffee or tea and a choice of three mains, or pick from the extensive a la carte menu. From the latter, we recommend starting with the crispy chicken drumlets, where perfectly fried chicken is drizzled over with truffle maple syrup. The dish is well-balanced without being greasy or too heavy.
Follow that with signature mains such as the indulgent wagyu beef burger with pan-fried foie gras, homemade fig jam and barbecue sauce, the Australian sirloin beef hor fun or chilli crab pasta. For a delicious vegan option, go for a Beyond Burger, featuring a flavourful, surprisingly meat-like, 100% vegan Beyond Meat® patty. Choose between sautéed mushrooms, coleslaw or caramelised pineapples to accompany your patty with vegan cheese and caramelised onions in between the lightly toasted buns.
Service is crisp but tends to lag a little when the restaurant is busy, so opt for the executive set lunch if you’re pressed for time. Do check out their newly launched menu with highlights such as vongole pasta and Australian wagyu striploin steak.
