Occupying a narrow unit in bustling Robertson Quay, Sandaime Mikoto’s dining room has just eight counter seats and a six-seater dining table. The seating spills out onto the courtyard, creating a festive atmosphere. Apart from the regular menu of dainty Japanese eats, there is a list of daily specials dictated by the freshest produce available.

One of the most popular items is the chicken yaro—juicy grilled chicken marinated overnight, grilled and served on a hot plate with a bed of cabbage, makes a fabulous pairing with beer or sake.
