When you come to Sabio Tapas Bar, expect to stand around— just like you would in a tapas bar in Spain. Perched on trendy Duxton Hill, this cosy space has just two outdoor tables and a few indoor seats. (They only take reservations for the bar counter seats so make sure you get there early if visiting on a weekend.)The service is cheerful and the tapas menu, extensive. We recommend the gambas al pil pil, succulent grilled prawns with sliced garlic served in a little skillet; and the almejas al ajillo or clams in garlic sauce. The sauce is so flavourful that one can spend hours scooping up the little clams, just for one more bite.

The creamy croquettes are lovely, too. Vegetarians will enjoy the aguacate, bruschetta topped with smashed guacamole and crumbled goat’s cheese.
