Adorned with elegant chandeliers and glass and metal accents, this sumptuous restaurant serves fine Indian cuisine based on recipes from the royal kitchen. Expect an extensive menu that draws inspiration from the melting pot of India’s Punjab provinces, centred around their staple tandoori.
The champ tajdar is well executed—tender lamb chops marinated with cloves, black cardamom, dried fenugreek and grilled to perfection. The star though, is tandoori foie gras. There is a delicious mélange of flavours from the foie gras’ inherent lusciousness, a spice blend of chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and semolina, and sweet mango chutney. To complement the exquisite food, much attention to detail has been paid to curating the restaurant’s wine list of 75 labels from 10 global regions.
