Cantonese restaurant Peach Blossoms delivers on all fronts, with good food and knowledgeable staff. Start with the five combinations platter comprising deepfried prawn with passion fruit mayonnaise, eggplant with pork floss, deep-fried scallop and banana wrapped with mashed taro, chilled Japanese cucumber rolls with jellyfish, and steamed otak ‘siew maiâ. The double-boiled soups like the almond flavoured soup with fish maw is creamy and flavourful. The stir-fried wagyu beef boasts tender, juicy meat, perfectly complemented by piquant black pepper and sweet longans. Among the wide variety of live seafood, the grouper or marble goby steamed with soy sauce Hong Kong-style is recommended.
