The contemporary Spanish cuisine chef that Daniel Chavez serves here is consistently good, tasty and uncomplicatedÂand thereâs a lot of wine to match. Come at Happy Hour and enjoy wine at $10 a glass alongside a small menu of delicious bar bites.
Must-haves on the main menu include the pork paella, a richly savoury treat of juicy Iberico pork and sausages with roasted garlic cooked with rice; and the charcoal-grilled Iberico pork that is delectably smoky from the Josper oven. For something lighter, the Catalan fishermanâs stew is an excellent choice: fish and clams in a fragrant, delicately piquant saffron sauce which is light on the tomatoes and the palate. (Worth noting, Ola serves only sustainable fish.) End the meal with churros, unapologetically large pieces of crisp, delicate pastry with a smooth warm chocolate sauce.
