My Little Tapas Bar in trendy Club Street is an excellent place to catch up and chill out with friends over drinks and Spanish small plates. All the tapas classics are on the menu, including various types of Spanish hams, from 48-month-aged Joselito Iberico Bellota to 18-month-aged Serrano.

By day, the restaurant offers $14 set lunches that give guests the option of an appetiser, main and side dish from the menu. These include the lovely pan-seared pork belly with assorted vegetables, coca flat bread with mushrooms, spinach, cherry tomatoes and cheese, and crisp patatas bravas (Spanish potato fries).

By night, ask for the paella de carabineros, comprising rice saturated with the flavour of saffron, clams, mussels,calamari and the dish’s namesake prawns. Heartier options abound, including the sous-vide suckling pig with truffle mashed potatoes and beef short ribs braised till spoon-tender over eight hours and served with truffle mash and crispy jamon. Though it is, at heart, a Spanish tapas bar, the jazz muzak the restaurant plays says otherwise.
