Despite being indubitably posh, dining at Morton’s is anything but pretentious. Here, the spotlight shines on their excellent range of steaks. Right on top is its USDA aged prime fillet mignon. Caramelised on the outside with perfect salt char, the steak is succulently tender and tasty within. As a non-meat alternative, the whole baked Maine lobster is recommended. Likewise, the sharing platter of freshly shucked oysters in varying tones of briny, sweet and silky. The desserts are no afterthought either. The hot chocolate cake with its flowing chocolate lava center oozes satisfaction with every mouthful—a grand way to end a luxurious evening.
