Located on Marina Bay, contemporary Italian restaurant Monti offers exceptional views within an elegant space, with wellspaced tables and excellent service. Start with Hokkaido scallops with truffle caviar and porcini mushrooms. The risotto, made with aged carnaroli rice, is finished tableside in a Parmigiano Reggiano wheel and topped with truffle shavings. The melted cheese clings to the rice and each mouthful is a creamy, umami delight. Florentina steaks are another highlight, featuring Mayura full-blood wagyu from cattle fed a special diet of grain and chocolate. The T-bone features a chargrilled crust and deliciously nutty, buttery meat, large enough to share.
