2018 Review
One of the longest running buffet restaurants in town and among the earliest to make champagne brunch a thing, Melt Café has built a reputation for its smorgasbord. To get the best out of your experience, let the wait staff take you through a quick tour and bask in their enthusiastic offers to keep you juiced up (Sundays boozy option includes R de Ruinart champagne and cocktails). The revamped magical Sunday Champagne Brunch also comes with entertainmenta roving magician with tricks galore to impress children and adults.
There is a lot to graze on, from the quintessential seafood bar and carving station to kebab counter, foie gras station and an outdoor barbecue where you can load up on baby back ribs, tomahawk beef, gourmet sausages, fish and more. The Indian fare at Melt Café simply should not be missed, particularly the smoky and tender butter chicken and aromatic saffron rice.
Bridge into desserts with housemade yuzu marshmallowsor liquid nitrogen sabayon as a palate cleanser, then work your way through the cakes and bons bons. Melt Cafés chocolate treats are especially decadent, in particular its signature chocolate cake and dainty chocolate cups of tiramisu. The cheese section is fairly conservative, but keep your eyes peeled for the umami bomb that is manchego cheese.
