Lime Restaurant and Bar

A delicious oasis amid Singapore’s bustling city centre, Lime boasts a spacious interior that is designed in line with the elegant and eco-friendly theme of PARKROYAL on Pickering where it is located. Working from three open kitchens, chefs whip up culinary creations that go into the lunch and dinner buffets focusing on Asian and international flavours.

The local food corner lets diners try their hand at customising their own rojak with a good range of fresh ingredients. Peranakan offerings are spectacular—the robust Nonya laksa, rich with coconut milk and spices, is a crowd pleaser and worth repeated helpings; the jicama and bamboo shoot filling for kueh pie tee is delightfully savoury, and a wonderfully toothsome contrast to the crispy fried shells.

Meat lovers have a myriad of choices, but should definitely try the beef cheek in red wine sauce or luscious striploin cooked medium rare. Saving space for dessert is di rigueur, as the selection of sweet treats is outstanding. From a bevy of cheeses to homemade ice cream and a deeply satisfying durian pengat, diners will find themselves spoiled for choice. Those who prefer to eschew the buffet can order from the a la carte menu. One notable dish is garlic and rosemary grilled tiger prawn. The butterflied prawns are grilled masterfully so they are sufffused with smoky flavours and served atop a fresh, tangy salsa. All in all, Lime makes a quality dining destination for a comforting meal any time of the day.
