The island’s highest urban craft brewery boasts a stunning view of the city and eastern Singapore. The craft beers here are fresh and offer the usual range of blondes, pale ales, darker brews and stout, all of which prove pleasing. The wine menu is impressive too, with Mouton Rothschilds dating back to 1981, and quirky offerings from small wineries producing 250 cases or less.

Albeit served in large portions, the food is prettily presented and in clever combinations. These include the Japanese deep-sea crab tantalisingly paired with sweet corn and lime, and Bangalow pork neck with pickled mustard seeds, artichoke and miso butter.
