What it lacks in inspired decor, this humble bistro makes up for with excellent, unpretentious and affordably great French food. The fact that it has been around for over a decade is testimony to its merits.
Pick from a list of entrees that include foie gras with ravioli of prawns in a light lemon sauce, or the delightfully nuanced pan-fried foie gras with orange confit. The selection of mains includes a fricassee of plump Hokkaido scallops with baby spinach and cream sauce, as well as a hearty sirloin steak with potato gratin and salad. One of the highlights of the menu is the spaghetti with fresh crab in spicy tomato sauce.
Be sure to save room for dessert—the restaurant features a rotating selection that might include a black forest cake or mango cheesecake.
