With its high ceilings, floor to- ceiling glass windows and sumptuous décor, La Brasserie makes for a most charming spot to linger over lunch and dinner.

The menu features some brasserie staples such as plump butter-soaked baked escargots with garlic and parsley; and traditional onion soup, a signature here with its rich robust broth brimming with caramelised onions and topped with a slice of sourdough generously covered in melted Gruyere. There is a succinct quality selection of meats—take your pick from the likes of chateaubriand, steak and frites el al. Our recommendation, however, goes to the filet mignon Rossini, with tender perfectly medium rare meat topped with a generous slice of pan-fried foie gras and served with a rich Port wine reduction.
