This minimalist little eatery specialises in only one thing—ha-na katsudon. If you can’t decide where to go for katsu, make this a priority. It serves just six types of katsu—three pork and three chicken—in either original or spicy versions. The perfectly breaded katsu is crunchy without being greasy. A choice of premium Nanatsuboshi Hokkaido rice or multi-grain rice accompany. Tonjiru, miso soup with pork and vegetables is also served, making for a very hearty and well-priced meal of quality katsudon. Suntory beer and Suntory Kaku whisky high ball are available along with the usual drinks.
