Casual Japanese eatery KAMOSHITA serves some of the best oden in Singapore. Of the 20-plus varieties available, the fish cake, prawn cake, tofu and tomato are recommended. The flavourful dashi stock that it is served with is made only with kombu, bonito and mackerel, with neither miso nor MSG. On its menu are other offerings including an unusual cheese platter featuring homemade cream cheese with miso, smoked radish stuffed with cream cheese, and the delectable crab butter cheese cracker. The signature claypot rice with sea bream is very flavourful and offers a really lovely bite.
