The signature superior fish soup with winter melon and conpoy is a comforting hotpot base flavoured with healthy dried scallops, goji berries and cabbage, and a thick slice of winter melon. Starting out with a mild herbal flavour, the fish soup evolves as the meal progresses, taking on increasingly delightful sweet-savoury notes as flavours from the food cooked within are absorbed into fish stock.
Choose from a wide variety of fresh meats, including the fresh kurobuta slices and kurobuta pork belly. The restaurant’s handmade minced pork meat ball with water chestnut is a must-try—sweet savoury and delectable, with crunchy, juicy water chestnuts within.
Along with the restaurant being clean, modern and functional, the service here is friendly, polite and pleasantly efficient. Hua Ting Steamboat offers all-day set menus which are priced at $48 and $88, as well as la carte lunch buffets on Saturdays and Sundays from 11.30am to 2pm.
