Celebrated Catalan chef Nandu Jubany brings a slice of Barcelona’s hedonistic spirit to Hong Kong Street. Set in an old shophouse redesigned by famed Barcelonian design firm Lagranja, FOC’s decor pays tribute to Catalan folklore through the use of domino tiles that line its bar, lamps made of traditional Catalan wine jars, and capgros—burlesque masks common to Catalan street festivals.

The menu features traditional Catalan dishes, rooted in slow-cooking and seasonal produce. So expect the likes of octopus legs first slow-cooked to tenderness, then given a good char on the grill to impart deep smokiness; and flavour-saturated squid ink paella. Popular Catalan tapas staples such as Iberico ham and truffle ‘bikini’ sandwiches and molten-centred croquettes are also available, and are perhaps some of the best versions you’ll get this side of Southeast Asia. Wash all that good food down with mixologist Dario Knox’s impressive list of cocktails, or the selection of rums, tequilas and mezcals.
