2018 Review
Dining at Japanese steakhouse Fat Cow might put a little dent in your wallet, but the top-quality meats here are well worth it. Some of the premium beef you can enjoy here include Ohmi A4 ribeye from Shiga prefecture, Saga Grade A3 tenderloin from Saga prefecture in Kyushu, and Tochigi Grade A5 ribeye from Tochigi. You can have them served charcoal-grilled, paired with salt, fried onions and their homemade sauce, or in other styles like shabu-shabu and sukiyaki. Premium beef from producers outside of Japan, like Australiaâs Mayura Station, also feature here. Delicately seasoned side dishes like tai no kuro-toryufu, a piquant combination of fresh seabream carpaccio, shoyu, seasoned kelp and black truffles, add variety to your meal. For dessert, try the homemade warabi mocha made with green tea and roasted soy bean flour. Adjourn for after-meal drinks at the lounge, where you can wind down with Japanese-inspired cocktails, shochu infusions, sakes and whisky sours. One-dish lunch sets such as the Fat Foa-Gura Don, glazed foie gras and grilled wagyu beef over rice, are also available for days when you just want a quick bite of umami-infused meat.
