Run by Gianluca Impemba and his partner, group executive chef Anna Borrasi, Etna Italian Restaurant boasts two outlets at Duxton Road and Upper East Coast Road. The restaurant brings top quality Italian produce to diners, prepared with flair. The owners shared that one of their secrets for longevity is their ability to maintain tradition, yet innovate. This is evident in their dishes such as the ravioli all’ aragosta, a homemade lobster ravioli with butter pistachio cream and prawns.
The Mediterranean salad makes for a refreshing start, boasting a vibrant burst of colours and flavours from the fresh pumpkin, zucchini, carrot, peppers, eggplant and walnut, topped with a light gorgonzola cheese sauce. To fill up, you can’t go wrong with its signature flower crab linguine, featuring generous morsels of sweet crab meat served in a hearty tomato reduction. For something heartier, go for the ribeye or T-bone steak grilled to medium rare perfection. If you still have space, we recommend ordering the Etna pizza comprising mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, Parma ham, cream cheese and pistachios atop a perfectly baked crust; or catch of the day—a daily fish selection which can be baked, grilled or salt-crusted. End your meal on a sweet note with the tiramisu with pistachio paste or a scoop of their homemade gelatos.
