Chef Gabriel Fratini serves up tasting menus that cater to your preferences. You might start with a bite-sized cone of crisp, spicy salami atop a scrim of creamy burrata, while succulent crayfish tails served with a Sicilian orange sauce are brightened by peppercorns so delicate and fragrant that we pick them off the plate to eat on their own. Deftly cooked chicken breast gets a crown of foie gras and arobe of creamy marsala sauce; then there’s a good old-fashioned stew of slow-cooked pork ribs with cannelloni beans—and these are just the starters.

The mains follow in delectable succession—seafood ravioli, swimmingly fresh snapper swathed in a tantalising sauce of capers and anchovies, and a gorgeous sirloin steak served with mashed potatoes. The sweet endings come in the form of a refreshing lemon pastry, a toothsome almond tart, and a rich, traditional tiramisu. No doubt, one tends to leave the restaurant a lot heavier than when they rolled in.
