Almost every table starts the meal with the signature seafood platter, heaving with fresh oysters, Maine lobsters, prawns, jumbo clams and servings of ceviche and fish tartare. This alone is a treat for the eyes and the palate. For mains, the lobster grilled with garlic butter comes highly recommended and is cooked to perfection. The lobster flesh is succulent, moist and sweet, and perfumed with heady garlic butter. Pan-seared foie gras, meanwhile, is spiced with tarragon and basil, and served with brioche and summer peaches. It is so delicious, you’ll want to wipe your plate clean with the slices of brioche.

At dessert, treat yourself to a baked alaska, which harbours a pandan-flavoured sponge and a tangy pineapple core. With delights like these, a meal at DB Bistro is always a real treat.
