Nestled within Botanic Gardens and housed in a historic bungalow, Corner House presents chef Jason Tan’s delicate modern French cuisine with a local touch. Vegetables take pride of place, evidenced by his signature ‘onion in four ways’—as a baked onion cup, an onion tart, onion chip and onion tea.
Highlights among mains include A4 Toriyama wagyu with veal sweetbreads and Yunnan morel, and for dessert, My Interpretation of Kaya Toast is an elegant ensemble of pandan, coconut, gula Melaka, muscovado and pineapple. Petit fours such as jackfruit mochi and salted egg yolk macaron end the meal on a playful note.
