Cherry Garden’s take on Cantonese cuisine is impressive. A must-haveis its signature charcoal-roasted barbecue meat platter, featuringjuicy roasted duck bearing crisp thin skin, pork belly with crunchycrackling and tender honey-glazed Kurobuta pork char siew. Anotheroutstanding dish is the fragrant golden pumpkin soup cradling morelmushrooms and diced chicken.

The menu also offers a wide variety of live seafood, from abalone andsea cucumber, to fish and lobster. From its specialities, try the oven-bakedcod fillet, marinated with honey and glazed with black pepper, an enticingcombination of sweet and spicy. The chilli crabmeat in mantou cups,meanwhile, offer an interesting, modern take on a local favourite.

Round off the meal with the aromatic stir-fried rice vermicellishowered with prawns and scallops, silver sprouts and yellow chives, andgorgeously scented with sesame oil and wok hei. For dessert, the cherriesin nu er hong and aged wine jelly with lychee sorbet, as well as the creamof mango with pomelo and lime sorbet provide a refreshingly satisfyingend.
