This Michelin-starred establishment is a labour of love by chef-owner Rishi Naleendra and his wife and restaurant manager Manuela Toniolo. The food is modern, considered and unique, informed by Naleendraâs Sri Lankan and Australian background.
Start with an irresistible, palate-opening Irish oyster topped with smoked tomato granita. For mains, follow up with the exquisite barramundi with charred lettuce, onion and prawn floss, or for a taste of meat synonymous with Australia, try the lean and tender kangaroo loin with attleseed, burnt carrots and red onion.
End with a dessert thatÂâs more on the savoury side. Called Coconut, it comprises coconut semifreddo, laksa leaf ice cream with green chilli sauce, topped with crisp laksa leaves, pomelo and peanuts.
