2018 Review
In Spanish, Binomio means ‘duo’, a reference to the twoconcepts that make up this charming restaurant. A tapasbar faces the walkway along sleepy Craig Road, while behind it, a fine dining eatery serves larger plates and heartier options like paella. Recommendations from the tapas menu include shredded cuttlefish marinated in veal vinaigrette, tender char-grilled pork belly with razor clams, and juicy beef short ribs slow-cooked to spoon-tender perfection.
One of the best things on Binomio’s menu is its squid inkpaella cooked over an open fire and studded with freshclams and squid. The grill offerings are impressive too,and include traditional suckling pig, charcoal-grilled Tasmanian wagyu and braised lamb shank with smoked eggplant.
