Located in Andaz Singapore, Auntie’s Wok & Steam is a contemporary Chinese restaurant, offering unblocked views of the open kitchen, and beautiful scenery outside through its floor-to-ceiling windows. The service is personable and professional too. The menu is concise but portions are generous. The fried brown rice has a lovely wok hei while the wok-fried greens are nicely stir-fried and crunchy. Auntie’s laksa, redolent in a rich, tasty gravy and generous ingredients including large prawns, is a winner. End with teh tarik ice cream served with Nyonya love letter.
