Situated in Marina Mandarin Singapore, AquaMarine is renowned for its extensive buffet spread. Often packing a full house, even on weekdays, it is a popular destination, so be sure to make reservations ahead.

At the Chinese station, choose from local favourites like chilli crab and Hainanese chicken rice. There are also Western, Indian and Japanese stations featuring pastas, pizzas, naans and curries, sashimi, sushi and tempura. The dessert station is as much a feast for the belly as it is for the eyes, with a host of Nonya kueh and scrumptious cakes. The variety is immense, and changes from time to time according to visiting chefs and festive seasons such as Ramadan and Christmas. If a buffet seems indulgent, opt for the a la carte menu, which lists international favourites such as tom yam goong, mushroom salad and chicken satay. Not to be missed is their signature jumbo lobster laksa. The spicy coconut milk gravy is a winner and the serving of lobster generous. For desserts, a must-try is the signature durian pengat served with sago gula melaka.
