ALBA 1836 boasts a sleek decor and beautifully plated contemporary Italian fare all bursting with flavour. The grilled pecorino cheese with chestnut honey is a great starter with its perfect balance of sweet and savoury. The homemade pastas are not to be missed, especially the tagliolini with lobster and homemade gnochetti with tuna, basil and tomatoes. The former features delicately silky, springy noodles served with plenty of sweet, succulent lobster chunks, while the latter has a nice, scrumptious bite and plenty of umami flavours. The delectable beef tenderloin Milanese is another distinct highlight. Its extensive wine list features excellent labels from Italy.
