This modern steakhouse with dramatic art deco interiors, is known for its spectacular views and Muslim-friendly menu. Expect good hearty fare by chef Josephine Loke. Appetisers are especially well-executed here. Some examples are the flavourful tartine of beef pastrami and bone marrow toast, the summery-light scallop ceviche and the velvety lobster bisque. For mains, a solid selection of prime cuts, and sustainable seafood are delectably grilled in the Pira charcoal oven. Gun for side dishes like sinful truffle fries and mac and cheese. Whatever you do, don’t skip desserts. The strawberry mille feuille and manjari dark chocolate cremeux make essential eating.
