Rosso Vino’s riverside location and congenial setting especially in the evening, makes it a great peoplewatching spot. Expect rustic homely Italian fare, such as fresh spinach and ricotta ravioli in a flavourful saffron sauce, and spectacular pizzas with thin smoky crusts. However, you are better off having the burrata as appetiser instead of as a pizza topping, as the delicate cheese is woefully wasted in the latter. A gluten-free selection is available, including a deliciously al dente pesto pasta. Among desserts, the creamy panna cotta comes with chocolate or raspberry toppings, and tiramisu is fluffy and light.
