For the fourth year in a row, Singapore’s Top Restaurants has partnered Sommelier Association of Singapore for Wine List Awards to recognise establishments that promote Singapore’s wine culture and raise the bar within the F&B industry.

SUBMISSION

Establishments featured in the guide were invited to submit their food and wine menus, along with details on their collection such as the number of labels in their wine list and bottles in cellar.

EVALUATION AND GRADING

Entries were grouped into three categories based on the size of the restaurant’s list—251 labels and above; 101 to 250 labels; and 0 to 100 labels—then judged on a variety of factors including diversity of producers and vintages featured; diversity and balance of wine styles, and breadth of wines and price range.

Each list was considered within its own category and scored “blind” to ensure a fair assessment—i.e. panellists did not know which restaurants they were scoring. Each list was scored by at least three panellists, and the score determined by the aggregate and a final committee evaluation.
