Littered with brightly upholstered stools, cosy booths and bar seats along an open kitchen, Ding Dong is as much about the happy decor as it is about the good food.
The dishes are familiar yet delightfully surprisingthink tuna tataki served with calamansi sorbet; quail scotch eggs with a Vietnamese dipping sauce; and kueh pie tee filled with chilli crab. We loved the buah keluak beef short ribs featuring fork-tender meat glazed with the earthy black nut and served with steamed white rice.
