Equal parts sultry and stylish with comfy velvet armchairs, leather-topped stools and a pristine marble bar, the Fat Prince—sister restaurant of The Ottomani—serves up a menu of modern Middle Eastern cuisine. Drawing culinary references from Istanbul to Marrakesh and Beirut, the loose take on exotic mezzes and kebabs have proven such a hit that seats at this buzzy eatery are almost impossible to come by on a Friday and Saturday evening.
Rather than serve its kebabs traditional kofta style, Fat Prince takes a contemporary approach, stuffing freshly baked pitas with more unusual proteins like a spicy Adalar prawn spiked with a mint nashi pear, or chunks of halloumi cheese thats grilled till soft with spiced macadamia and pomegranate molasses.
