    2017 Review 2018 Review

Like the music from Mama Mia, Alati’s white-washed interiors beckons, with its menu of wild-caught fish and seafood— imported three times a week— from the Aegean sea. Without a doubt, their signature salt-baked fish is a must-order. Here a sea bream (or similar firm-flesh fish) is baked in a crust of sea salt and presented tableside, deboned and served with three sauces, a dab of the lemon skin and parsley sauce.

Other Greek standards like the moussaka with a heady aroma of cinnamon and the springy octopus that’s cooked sous vide overnight, then grilled to a beautiful, smoky flavour do not disappoint either.
