Located on the second floor of InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay, Plum and Toro offers a range of teppan and chargrilled dishes in a casual, chic setting. The menu is conceptualised by chef Hideki Ii, who previously trained under Japanese-born Australian chef Tetsuya Wakuda.
To start, order some cocktails and bar bites such as chilled oysters topped with dashi jelly, tobiko and citrus jus; and the decadent B.U.K.C comprising botan shrimp, sea urchin, crab meat and caviar. For heartier mains, you cant go wrong with sakura ebi fried rice and the establishments signature wagyu truffle don. End off your meal on a sweet note with satsuma imoan oven-baked Japanese sweet potato with vanilla ice cream topped with snow salt.
