The first Southeast Asian outpost by Ippoh, Osakas legendary tempura restaurant, Ippoh Tempura forms part of the Como takeover in Dempsey, sandwiched between The Dempsey Cookhouse & Bar on the left and Candlenut on the right.
The restaurant is small and intimate, with just 12 counter seats that net you up-close views of the chefs in action along with table seating for six.
Take your pick from the various set options available, which offer up to 10 pieces of fresh seafood and vegetables lightly coated in crisp delicate tempura batter. Hits include the signature live shrimp wrapped with shiso leaf which give the crustacean added flavour and sea urchin tempura generously crowned with caviar.
