At this fine dining contemporary Italian restaurant housed within a beautiful colonial bungalow, the dining experience is earnest, honest and elegant. Guests can create their own menu, choosing from four or five dishes, which are preceded by a procession of lovely snacks compliments of the chef. Alternatively, leave the menu in the hands of Lombardian chef de cuisine Denis Lucchi who turns out beautiful dishes inspired by his family recipes.

Highlights include spaghetti carbonara, a sensibly portioned mound of perfectly al dente pasta, flavoured with the savoury depth of pancetta and slicked with a light, creamy coat of home cured egg yolk and 36-months-aged Parmigiano Reggiano. The beef tongue tortellini in its own reduction is also sublime, its velvety sauce saturated with the flavour of meat cooked long and slow.

At dessert, opt for the panna cotta. Encased in a rhubarb jelly and served with yoghurt ice cream, the dish displays artful balance of textures, flavours and richness.
