Not just a restaurant per se, ATLAS is more properly an all-day drinking and dining establishment designed in grand Art Deco style. Taking centrestage is the 15-metre tall gin tower that houses over 800 bottles, with some dating back as far as 1910. The speciality here is Champagne; the bar offers one of the largest Champagne lists in town, with over 300 labels. There is also a sound selection of Art Deco-inspired cocktails on offer, including the Atlas martini, a heady blend of gin, Ambrato vermouth, orange bitters, Champagne vinegar and pomelo.

Food-wise, order the blue prawn tartare, sea urchin and caviar served on thin slices of crusty bread, and lobster and Champagne risotto to go with your drinks. To end, ask for the deliciously warm madeleines served with homemade jam and unsweetened cream.
